Membership Info

The Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club is a great way to start playing Irish Sports. It's also a great way to meet people, stay in shape and learn something new! New members will be added to the NGAC Slack channel to receive news about upcoming trainings, scrimmages, and matches.

Registration follows two steps. Both steps must be completed to play in NGAC organized play, and in matches versus other USGAA clubs.

  • NGAC membership: All players and social members must register membership with Nashville GAC. 2024 fees are $40.
  • USGAA registration: All players must register with and pay annual dues to the United States Gaelic Athletic Association. 2024 fees are $42 (camogie) and $63 (football and hurling).

STEP 1. 2024 NGAC MEMBERSHIP

Steps to register membership with NGAC:
A. Sign in or create an account athttps://nashvillegac.com/
B. Navigate to your Account page.
C. Click Register Membership to complete the process!

D. Sign and return waiver. An electronic version is available.

The registration process includes confirming you have read and agree to the NGAC Release and Waiver of Liability athttps://pdf.ac/nD95d

Your NGAC membership fee covers the cost of running practice such as field rental and providing common equipment (balls, nets, field rental, etc.) and general administration of the club. Members in good standing have a voice in running the club such as attending monthly board meetings and participation in annual elections.

The deadline for completing your NGAC Membership is the same time as you complete your USGAA registration unless you wish to sign up for automatic renewal each March.

STEP 2. 2024 USGAA REGISTRATION

Steps to register with USGAA:
A. Sign in or create an account athttp://usgaa.bonzidev.com/home.php
B. Select 2024 Southeast Division
C. Team registration options are:
Nashville Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football ($42)
Nashville Hurling and Men’s Gaelic Football ($63)
Social membership ($11) [Only select this option if you will not play or practice]
D. You will need the following information: our Division is Southeast, the Team is Nashville GAC, and we play the Junior Grade. Enter your Primary Sport as hurling/football or camogie/ladies’ football and indicate Yes are a dual code (and Nashville NGAC is your other team).
If you need any further assistance, please reach out to the NGAC Registrar.

Deadlines are:

  • April 30th is the returning players’ deadline, including club-to-club transfers within the USGAA. (For GAA players transferring registration to NGAC from outside the USGAA this deadline moves up to March 31st).
  • Year-round registration is available for first time Homegrown players, who have never previously registered with an adult GAA club, but such players are not eligible for Southeast Divisional or USGAA Championships, if registering after August 1st.

Your USGAA fee covers your annual membership with the USGAA, allows you to play in all sanctioned USGAA games/tournaments, and provides you with medical insurance to train/play GAA sports in the USA.

For returning players, please complete your registrations before you step on the field, and we recommend no later than one week before the deadline to ensure it is processed at this busy time of year. The NGAC Registrar will announce when USGAA registration opens for this year. For new players exploring GAA sports, we wish you welcome and ask that you complete these two Player Registration steps no later than your third practice and before any scrimmage/game/match.
